I have certainly been fortunate in life, friends and family. I have made it through my share of hard times and have made plenty of bad decisions to put myself through even more. I have emotional scars and oh so many physical scars, wrinkles and gray hair that I earned along the way. All of these combined have given me my personal, unique strength that is the person I am today. 

 

As I started working with leather and making one-of-a-kind bags, I discovered that they were unique like each of us and have that same strength. Each hide has scars and unique characteristics. One of my first bags had a large brand prominent on the back, a flap fashioned from leather with a rippled effect of the tanning process and included an old belt for the strap. With each of these unique features I was able to create a beautiful bag that is like no other. 

 

This is where the name LEverage Company was born. We all have these unique characteristics from our blessings, failures, successes and scars. All of these give us strength. The question is…what will you do with it? Share that unique strength with the world.
